AP is the biggest political party in Norway according to a recent poll carried out by Norstat on behalf of NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). The party’s approval rating is currently at 29.5 percent, compared to the FRP’s (The Progress Party) 29.2 percent. SV (The Socialistic Left) jumped from 6.0 percent to 8.4 percent.
The poll shows AP as the country’s biggest political party at the moment with a slightly higher approval rating than FRP. AP increased their lead by 0.2 percent to 29.5 percent, while the FRP went down 1.5 percent to 29.2 percent according to NRK.
Senterpartiet (The Centre Party) dropped 0.2 percent and is currently on 5.3 percent. KRF (The Christian Party) went down 0.5 percent and is currently on 13.8 percent, which means that the party is currently only half the size of the FRP.
The results from this latest opinion poll give the opposition parties 94 mandates, while the red-green coalition parties have 76 mandates.
